What the 'F' are they going to do next...

Cameron, a millionaire, claimed all the benefits he could for his ill son, who sadly passed away. In principle yes, but why did he and his wife need the money?

Now the CONDEMS are taking the very pennies and pounds from the most vulnerable; denying us even basic dignity because we continuously and relentlessly have to be interrogated about what we can and can't do... What we can and can't feel... Our 'worth' to the state... Our 'worth' to society...

Well, I'll tell you something for free, there are very many people facing a situation we as a nation had almost forgotten... Our great grandparents and our grandparents fought two world wars to give us our freedom and democratic society.

Just after WWII our government laid the foundations of the two most important, and globally admired, organisations to give free health care and basic financial security for those of us who, through no fault of their own, found themselves unable to work and/or sick/disabled/elderly/vulnerable.

Our Welfare State and the NHS were the first in the world. This government is treating all the above mentioned people in a way some are scared to voice; but I will: Echoes of a distant past where so many died because they weren't perfect, were of the wrong race, the wrong ideologies, owned too much; the list is endless as I'm sure you know...

We will be judged in following centuries and many will be found wanting; repeating history 67 years after the atrocities/ethnic cleansing/genocide...

I really feel nauseous and cannot write any more today...
