I am posting this incomplete because I am saddened and disappointed by the UK public... I will complete this entry...

How dare anyone cast the slightest slur on this man...

I was 16 years old and have AS when this movie was released.... I didn't get to see it initially due to parental abuse; the same reason as many childhood movies and experiences...

I was the second child who vehemently protected my older sister and then, when our brothers were born, fought for and took care of them... Unfortunately, my sister 'forgot' the horrendous abuse she didn't have to deal with...

Just 'cos he's gay and been treated like shit by the British music industry means nothing... They should apologise to him...xxx

A beautiful children's movie... Why slate the poor guy? He was an 80's legend... I know he and the movie made a difference to my life as an abused child/teen/grown up...

Some of the books that got me through that period were sci - fi, fantasy, CS Lewis and of course Tolkien...
